Company History

Team One Transport, Inc. formally known as Mount Trucking, Inc. was incorporated in Columbus, IN on September 25th, 1984. On July 20th, 2005 Kohls Holding's LLC acquired Mount Trucking, Inc. changing the name to Team One Transport, Inc. Mr. Kris Kohls , our President, established our vision statement, “Integrity in Motion”. His love for trucks started when he was a young boy while living on a farm in Minnesota. Several years later Mr. Kohls found himself behind the wheel of a truck. Between deliveries he would reflect on all of the ingredients that it took to provide quality service and to make money.

Twenty-five years later he considers himself blessed to have worked as an executive within five of the top twenty trucking companies in America. The men and women who mentored him are now icons in the transportation industry. These entrepreneurs beat the odds by delivering profitability and growth.

Team One Transport, Inc. is a dry van carrier.  The company transports Team freight throughout the 48 states. The majority of our fleet is less than 2 years old, operating Kenworth, Peterbilt and, Freightliner trucks. Team One Transport, Inc. is certain that by using state of the art technology and working efficiently we will create a World-Class Enterprise.
